Membership
Membership is open to individuals and organizations with a focus or interest in fungal diseases and immunotherapy.
Industry Members: We value the engagement of our industry colleagues and welcome you to join IISFD. However, industry members are not eligible to serve on the Board of Directors or committees, and do not have voting privileges, in order to avoid potential conflicts of interest.
Core Membership
Practicing physicians, researchers, and clinical professionals with a primary focus on fungal diseases and immunotherapy. Core Members have full voting rights, access to all educational and other resources of the IISFD, are eligible to hold leadership positions on the Board of Directors and to serve as committee members.
Collaborative Membership
Professionals in related fields (e.g., microbiology, immunology, infectious diseases) who have an interest in fungal disease immunotherapy but do not actively practice in this specific area. Collaborative Members have no voting rights, full access to educational and other resources of the IISFD, are not eligible to hold leadership positions on the Board of Directors or on Committees but may serve as committee members. Collaborative Members have the option to join as Core Members.
Early Career Membership
Designed to foster mentorship of the next generation of ID specialists, this category includes students, residents, and fellows studying or training in immunotherapy or related fields. Early Career Members have exclusive access to mentorship activities within the IISFD, full voting rights, full access to educational and other resources of the IISFD, are not eligible to hold leadership positions on the Board of Directors or on Committees but may serve as committee members.
Global Access Membership
Global Access
Membership is available to healthcare professionals and
researchers with a focus on fungal disease and a primary appointment at
institutions in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), where resources for
fungal disease care, education, or research are limited. Global Access
Members have full voting rights, full access to educational resources in
multiple languages, the opportunity to apply for travel scholarships for IISFD
conferences, are eligible to hold Board of Directors or Committee and Committee
leadership positions and to serve as committee members.
